Freedom Run - Grand Rapids (Belmont)

IN PERSON & VIRTUAL RACE OPTIONS
The Freedom Run of the Run Michigan Cheap series will consist of a 5k, 10k and half marathon.
 
Located at 6300 Belshire Ave. Belmont, MI 49306
 
Starting at Rogue River Park, the course will follow the White Pine Trail.
Packet Pickup is Day of Race.
 
3.5 hour race time cut off.
 
No dogs allowed in race.
 
Strollers NOT allowed.
 
Due to limited parking, carpooling is encouraged.
 
Medals will be awarded to ALL finishers.
 
Age group results will still be posted in the following brackets: 14 & under, 15-19 ,20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 & Up

Racers do not meet for this event. You will run your race distance in the location of your choosing, time yourself and submit your finish time.

We will ship your t-shirt & finisher medal to the address you registered with, after the conclusion of the official race date.

  • We, respectfully, ask participants and spectators at races to maintain six feet (6ft / 2m) distance from anyone outside of their family group. 
  • We require racers and spectators to bring masks to wear during registration / check in. We recommend wearing a mask during the race if you are unable to maintain at least six feet (6ft / 2m) distance and re-mask after finishing. 
  • Do not race if you are exhibiting signs of COVID-19. Symptoms of COVID-19 may include:
Fever or chills
Cough
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
Fatigue
Muscle or body aches
Headache
New loss of taste or smell
Sore throat
Congestion or runny nose
Nausea or vomiting
Diarrhea

  • ​All races are chip timed. Runners have the option of staggering their start. Racer must be cross the starting line within 10 MINUTES of official race start.​
  • Hand sanitizer is available at registration/snack desk before, during and after the race.
  • Post-race snacks are individually wrapped granola bars and crackers. Water is bottled.
